Expert Witness

Expert witness work, in my view, is not about theory. It is about understanding how this industry actually operates.

I have spent over three decades in the transportation business, building companies from the ground up, leading operations, managing financial performance, working with customers, and navigating the day-to-day realities of running a carrier. That includes governance, finance, operations, HR, and sales, not in isolation, but as a fully integrated business.

That experience matters in a legal setting.

Most disputes in this space do not come down to a single decision. They come from how a business was structured, how it was managed, and how decisions were made over time. On paper, things can look one way. In practice, they often look very different.

My role is to bridge that gap.

To review the facts, understand the context, and provide a clear, independent perspective on how the situation aligns with real-world industry practices.

Some engagements are focused and specific. Others require a broader view of how the operation functioned as a whole.

Work may include:

  • File and documentation review

  • Written opinions and reports

  • Consultation with legal counsel

  • Testimony, where required

The objective is straightforward: to bring clarity to complex situations by explaining not just what happened, but how and why it happened within the context of the transportation industry.
